Zachary Bryant of Bolingbrook Inducted into Lewis University's Phi Alpha Honor Society

The Lewis University Rho Mu Chapter of Phi Alpha Honor Society inducted Zachary Bryant of Bolingbrook and 10 other students.

Students inducted into the Rho Mu Chapter of Phi Alpha include: Denise Arroyo of Romeoville, Zachary Bryant of Bolingbrook, Veronica Drase of Bolingbrook, Patricia Guel of Shorewood, Marta Jasielec of Plainfield, Amy Karczewski of Orland Park, Nicole Klein of LaGrange, Elizabeth Martenia of Joliet, Evangeline Valdez-Corpuz of Bolingbrook, Candice Vaughn of Woodridge and Victoria Vazquez of Tinley Park.

To be eligible for nomination, students must be at least a sophomore with social work as a declared major, completed eight semester hours of required social work courses, achieved an overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and achieved a 3.25 GPA in required social work courses.

Phi Alpha Honor Society promotes humanitarian goals and ideals. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.

The Department of Social Work at Lewis University educates generalist practice social workers who exhibit integrity and follow ethical principles.
