Plainfield Student Ann Favia Receives Full Tuition Scholarship from Lewis University

Lewis University has awarded Ann Favia of Plainfield the St. John Baptist de La Salle Scholarship. Favia is a student at Plainfield Central High School. She plans to study Nursing at Lewis University in Romeoville.

Lewis University awards at least one St. Baptist de La Salle Scholarship – a full tuition award – to an incoming freshman student that demonstrates excellence in the areas of academics, leadership or community involvement. Favia was one of five students chosen among the hundreds of students that were invited to participate in the Lasallian Scholarship Program. High school grade point average, ACT/SAT score, extracurricular involvement, rigor of curriculum and an interview with Lewis faculty and staff members were considered when awarding the full-tuition scholarship.
