Justin Polzin of Yorkville presents work at Biannual Senior Capstone Art Exhibition

Yorkville resident Justin Polzin will present their work at the biannual Senior Capstone Art Exhibition. It will be on display from April 30-May 18 in The Brent and Jean Wadsworth Family Gallery, located on Lewis University's main campus in Romeoville. There will be a special reception at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30. The free exhibit is open to the public and will be on display from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.

The biannual art show coincides with the Department of Art and Design's capstone course, Senior Project. This course challenges the graduating students to put their newly acquired skill and understanding of art to the test by participating in a professional exhibition experience.

The students involved in the exhibition include seniors Dalton Barrett, Brittany O. Bishop, Megan Chaffee, Danielle M. Coffman, La'Marr Collins Jr., Melissa Garcia, Jesus Guzman, Lauren Kill, Alfredo Melendez, Nicole Nellen, Kathleen O'Neil, Oscar Ortiz, Justin Polzin, Cory Seng, Cindy Tornero and Janelle Wisniowicz.

Polzin is studying Computer Graphic Design at Lewis University.

The gallery is part of the Oremus Fine Arts Center at Lewis University. The Department of Art and Design manages the gallery events, which include Lewis University student shows, local and regional artist shows, annual high school exhibits, faculty shows, academic based exhibitions and cultural and religious based art shows.
