Carli Wheeler of Joliet is a cast member in PLT Production "Almost Maine"

2012 Feb 2

Carli Wheeler of Joliet is a cast member in the latest production of Lewis University's Philip Lynch Theatre (PLT). The romantic-comedy, "Almost Maine" will open Feb. 17, just after Valentine's Day.

Wheeler is a Joliet West High School graduate.

The PLT presents a wonderful romantic-comedy that will rekindle a belief in love. Audiences will experience 9 stories of love lost and confounded, all occurring on the same winter's eve. Each story presents a different aspect of love and will keep the audience wondering what the next love story will bring.

Love is not always easy, but the bruises will heal and hearts will mend – almost – in what has been described as "a sweet-natured Valentine to fools and idioms," – The Los Angeles Times.

Evening performances begin at 8 p.m., while Sunday matinees begin at 2:30 p.m. In addition to the evening performance, there will be a 4 p.m. performance on Saturday February 25. Advanced ticket purchases are strongly encouraged. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and students and $2 for Lewis students with their student IDs. Tickets are $8 for groups of fifteen or more, a savings of more than 10 percent off the original ticket price. Tickets are non-refundable.
